This is a hilarious spy spoof, that's wonderfully old fashioned, with a funny story, Rowan Atkinson is brilliant!. All the characters are just great, and extremely likable, and while John Malkovich's accent is god awful, he was still a fun villain, plus Rowan Atkinson is simply amazing in this!. Ben Miller is greatRowan's sidekick,they were very funny together, andalways Rowan had some great facial expressions, plus The finale is an absolute scream!. It's very well made and written and Natalie Imbruglia is incredibly sexythe female sidekick, plus the scene where Rowan goes in the poop tube is just plain gross, but absolutely hilarious at the same time!. I absolutely love English humor so of course I loved this, and The ending had me cracking up big time, even though it was predictable, plus Rowan spoofs James Bond incredibly well!. The funeral scene while some may find tasteless I found very funny, and this is now one of my favorite spoofs, plus I really hope that the rumored sequel does happen!. This is a hilarious spy spoof, that's wonderfully old fashioned, with a funny story, Rowan Atkinson is brilliant, and I say it's a must see for everyone!. The Direction is excellent!. Peter Howitt does an excellent! job here with great camera work, cool angles and keeping the film hilarious and at very fast pace throughout. The Acting is loads of fun!. Rowan Atkinson is amazingalways and is amazing here, he is extremely hilarious,always had great facial expressions, had excellent chemistry with both Miller and Imbruglia, was perfect for spoofing Bond, seemed to be enjoying himself, and was just amazing overall! (Atkinson Rules!!!!!!!). John Malkovich is funthe villain, despite having one of the worst accents I have ever heard,he also seemed to be having fun. Ben Miller is funnythe sidekick, and plays it straight I really liked him, he and Atkinson were great together. Natalie Imbruglia is absolutely gorgeous, and incredibly sexy, she did great in her rolethe female agent sidekick type, and worked well with Rowan, I liked her lots!. Tim Pigott-Smith is funthe dimwitted chief I dug him. Rest of the cast do fine. Overall a must see for everyone!. ****1/2 out of 5
Johnny English is what it promises to be – an amusing and light-heard film. But what would you expect from Rowan Atkinson, the actor in Mr Bean? There are some strikingly funny scenes in the movie. But be prepared for some outlandish humor and chauvinistic jokes. But be prepared also for 007 and Austin Powers-style gadgets, which (I hope) you'll also laugh at,I did.<br/><br/>However, there are some weaker aspects to the film. For example, the movie portrays Chinese peoplethe bad guys and, in a way, vilifies them (though there are certainly bad apples in the Chinese race). Another one is that thinking logically, you would find some scenes improbable.<br/><br/>In short, though this movie was a bit short of in-depth food for thought, it was a quite funny and light-hearted comedy. Very suitable if you're just looking for an hour or so of laughter and nothing in-depth.
